This pattern is designed to be size-inclusive. You can customize the dimensions to fit your preferences. Below are general measurements for reference:

  • Small (36” bust)
  • Medium (40” bust)
  • Large (44” bust)
  • X-Large (48” bust)
  • 2X (52” bust)

Stitches Used:

  • Chain (ch)
  • Double Crochet (dc)
  • Half Double Crochet (hdc)
  • Group Stitch (3 dc in same stitch)

Pattern Instructions:

Body Panels (Make 2):

  1. Ch 60 (for small size, adjust for larger sizes).
  2. Row 1: dc in 4th ch from hook, dc across to end. (total 58 dc)
  3. Row 2: ch 2, turn. *Group Stitch, skip next 2 sts; repeat from * across. End with dc in last st.
  4. Row 3: ch 2, turn. dc in each stitch across.
  5. Repeat Rows 2 and 3 until the piece measures approximately 20 inches from the starting chain. Set aside.

Sleeves (Make 2):

  1. Ch 30 (for small size, adjust for larger sizes).
  2. Row 1: dc in 4th ch from hook, dc across to end. (total 28 dc)
  3. Row 2: ch 2, turn. *Group Stitch, skip next 2 sts; repeat from * across. End with dc in last st.
  4. Repeat Row 2 until sleeve measures approximately 14 inches. Set aside.

Assembly:

  1. Lay the two body panels down with the right sides facing each other.
  2. Sew the shoulder seams together using a whip stitch.
  3. Attach sleeves by aligning the sleeves to the armhole and sew in place.
  4. Join the side seams from the bottom of the sleeve down to the bottom of the sweater.

Finishing:

  1. For neckline: Use hdc around the neckline for a finished look.
  2. Weave in all ends using a tapestry needle.
