15 stitches and 10 rows = 4 inches in double crochet.

Instructions

Yoke

  1. Start with a foundation chain of 80 (86, 92, 98, 104, 110, 116, 122, 128) stitches.
  2. Row 1: Hdc in each stitch across. Turn.
  3. Row 2: Ch 2, dc in same stitch. *Ch 1, skip 1, V-stitch in the next stitch.* Repeat from * to * until the end of the row. Turn.
  4. Row 3: Ch 2, V-stitch in the first ch-1 space. Repeat V-stitch in each ch-1 space to the end. Turn.
  5. Repeat Rows 2 and 3 until the yoke measures 8 inches from the beginning.
  6. Place markers for the sleeves by skipping 10 (10, 12, 12, 14, 14, 16, 16, 18) stitches on either side.

Body

  1. Continue working the body in hdc in each stitch across for 12 rows.
  2. Change to double crochet and continue for another 6 rows.
  3. Finish with ribbing: (sc, ch 1) in each stitch for 2 rows.

Sleeves

  1. Attach yarn at the sleeve marker. Ch 2, hdc in each stitch around. Join with a slip stitch.
  2. Work 6 rows in hdc, then switch to dc for 4 rows.
  3. Finish with ribbing: (sc, ch 1) in each stitch for 2 rows.

Finishing

Weave in all ends, block your pullover if desired, and enjoy your new stylish piece!
