Instructions:

3. Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), *skip 2 sc, (dc, ch 1) in next sc; repeat from * to last 2 sc, skip 1 sc, dc in last sc. Turn.
4. Row 3: Ch 1, sc in each dc and ch-1 space across. Turn.
5. Row 4: Ch 3, *dc in next sc, ch 1; repeat from * to last dc, dc in last sc. Turn.
6. Repeat Rows 2-4 until the piece measures approximately 12 inches or desired height.
7. Finish with a sc row for a clean edge.
8. Join the first and last row with slip stitch to form a cowl. Weave in all ends.
