Materials

• Yarn: Worsted weight, 2 skeins in charcoal gray
• Needles: US size 8 (5mm) straight needles
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge

18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in rib pattern

Finished Size

Approx. 8-1/2” x 74” (21 x 188 cm)

Instructions

1. Cast on 50 stitches.
2. Row 1: *Knit 2, Purl 2; repeat from * to end of row.
3. Row 2: *Purl 2, Knit 2; repeat from * to end of row.
4. Repeat rows 1 and 2 until the scarf measures approximately 74 inches, or your desired length.
5. Bind off loosely in pattern.

Finishing

Weave in all ends using a tapestry needle. Block lightly if desired to even out stitches.
