Crochet Whimsical Meadow Vines Shawl Free Pattern

Materials:
- Worsted weight yarn in cream, soft pink, lavender, light green, and sky blue (approximately 400 yards total)

Instructions:

Shawl Body

1. Ch 62.
2. Row 1: Dc in the 4th ch from the hook, dc in each ch across (60 dc). Turn.
3. Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in next dc, *ch 2, sk 2 dc, dc in next 3 dc; repeat from * across, ch 2, sk last 2 dc, dc in top of turning ch (20 clusters). Turn.
4. Row 3: Ch 3, dc in next dc, *ch 2, sk next ch-2 space, dc in 3 dc of previous row; repeat from * across, ending with half dc in the top of the ch-3 (60 dc). Turn.
5. Repeat Rows 2 and 3 until shawl measures approximately 60 inches long or your desired length.

Vine Edging

1. With the cream yarn, sc along the entire edge of shawl, placing 3 sc at each corner.
2. Switch to light green yarn. Ch 5, skip 1 sc, sl st in next sc (creating a faux vine). Repeat this across the edge.
3. At intervals, add flowers by:
   • Using pink yarn: Ch 3, sl st in first ch to make a circle. Ch 1, *5 sc in circle; repeat from * once more. Fasten off.
   • Using lavender yarn: Repeat above flower instructions.
   • Attach flowers at the vine intervals by sewing them in place.
4. To finish, weave in all ends using a tapestry needle.
