Whimsical Leaf Textured Shawl Free Pattern

Materials:

• Sport weight yarn (approx. 400 yards)
• 5mm (H) crochet hook
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle

Gauge:

15 double crochet stitches = 4 inches in pattern.

Abbreviations:

• ch = chain
• dc = double crochet
• tr = treble crochet
• sk = skip
• sp = space

Instructions:

Foundation Chain:

Ch 112.

Row 1:

Dc in the 4th ch from the hook, *ch 2, sk 2 ch, dc in the next ch; repeat from * to the end. Turn.

Row 2:

Ch 3 (counts as first dc), *dc in the next ch-2 space, ch 2, dc in the next ch-2 space; repeat from * across. Turn.

Row 3:

Ch 4 (counts as first tc), tr in the first dc, *ch 3, sk 2 stitches, tr in the next dc; repeat from * to end. Turn.

Row 4:

Finishing:
