Crochet Vibrant Rippled Textured Wrap Free Pattern

Materials Needed:

• 1 skein of variegated yarn (approx. 280 yards)
• Crochet hook size J/10 (6 mm)
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Abbreviations:

• ch = chain
• dc = double crochet
• st = stitch
• rep = repeat

Pattern Instructions:

Foundation:

1. Ch 55 (or desired starting width).

Row 1:

1. Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each ch across. (52 dc)

Row 2:

1. Ch 3 (counts as first dc), turn. Dc in each dc across. (52 dc)

Row 3:

1. Ch 3, turn. *Skip 2 dc, 5 dc in next dc (this creates a ripple), skip 2 dc, dc in next dc; rep from * across.
2. End with dc in last st. (approx. 10 ripples)

Rows 4-10:

1. Rep Row 2 for 5 rows.
2. Then, repeat Row 3, and alternate between Rows 2 and 3 for a total of 10 more rows.

Finish:

1. Last row: Ch 1, sc around the entire edge to finish off the wrap, placing 3 sc in each ripple peak for a nice finish.
2. Fasten off and weave in the ends.

Size:

Approximately 24 inches wide and 60 inches long (adjustable as desired).

Care Instructions:

Wash in cold water, lay flat to dry.
