Materials:
- Worsted weight yarn in various colors (about 100 yards of each color)

Approximately 12" wide x 8" tall x 4" deep.
Pattern Instructions:
Base of the Bag:
With Color A, ch 36.
Row 1: Starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc across. (35 sc)
Row 2: Ch 2, turn. Dc in each stitch across. (35 dc)
Row 3: Ch 1, turn. *Sc in next 2 stitches, dc in next 1 stitch; repeat from * across. (35 stitches)
Continue alternating between Color A and Color B every 2 rows, working in the established pattern for 12 rows total.
Body of the Bag:
Switch back to Color A for the body.
Row 1: Ch 1, sc in each stitch across. (35 sc)
Row 2: Ch 2, turn. *FPdc around next 2 stitches, BPdc around next 2 stitches; repeat from * across. (35 stitches)
Repeat this two-row sequence, incorporating different colors every 4 rows, for a total of 20 rows.
Creating the Handles:
To create handles, join yarn at each end of the bag using Color A, then ch 16 and sc back into the same point to form a loop. Repeat on the opposite side of the bag.
