Crochet Elegant Floral Tote Bag Free Pattern

Materials Needed:

• Medium weight cotton yarn in cream, pink, and green
• Crochet hook size 4.0 mm (G/6)
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Gauge:

14 sts x 18 rows = 4 inches in single crochet

Instructions:

Base of Bag:

1. Start with cream yarn. Ch 41.
2. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn. (40 sc)
3. Row 2-25: Ch 1, sc in each sc across. Turn.

Bag Body:

1. Ch 1, sc evenly around the entire rectangle base to create the sides of the bag, working 3 sc in each corner. Join with sl st to first sc.
2. Continue to sc in each sc around until piece measures 14 inches from the base, ending at the side of the bag.

Handles:

1. Flatten bag to identify handle positions. Using cream yarn, attach yarn at desired handle position with sl st.
2. Ch 80 for handle, sk 20 sts, reattach to bag with sl st. Sc across bag top and handle.

Flowers:
