Crochet Snug Textured Twisted Scarf Free Pattern

Materials
- Chunky yarn (approximately 200 yards)
- Size N (10 mm) crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Stitch Abbreviations
- ch: chain
- sc: single crochet
- dc: double crochet
- sl st: slip stitch
Pattern Instructions
Foundation Chain
Chain 18.
Row 1
In the 2nd chain from the hook, make 1 sc. Continue to sc across the chain. (17 sc)
Row 2
Ch 2 (counts as 1 dc here and throughout), turn. Make 1 dc in each sc across. (17 dc)
Row 3
Ch 1, turn. Make 1 sc in the first dc, *skip the next dc, make 5 dc in the next dc (this creates the twisted texture), skip the next dc, 1 sc in the next dc; repeat from * across ending with 1 sc in the last dc.
Repeat Rows 2 and 3
Continue repeating Rows 2 and 3 until the scarf measures approximately 60 inches or your desired length.
Finishing
Once you've reached your desired length, fasten off and weave in all loose ends. You can also add a fringe to the ends if desired.
