Materials:

• Worsted weight cotton yarn in cream and light green
• 4.0 mm crochet hook
• Scissors
• Yarn needle
• 1 button (1-inch diameter)

Abbreviations:

• ch: chain
• sc: single crochet
• sl st: slip stitch
• st(s): stitch(es)

Instructions:

Bib Body:

1. With cream yarn, ch 33.
2. Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn. (32 sts)
3. Row 2-24: Ch 1, sc in each st across. Turn. (32 sts)

Shaping the Neck:

25. Row 25: Ch 1, sc in first 10 sts, leave remaining sts unworked. Turn. (10 sts)
26. Row 26-36: Ch 1, sc in each st across. Turn. (10 sts)
27. Fasten off and rejoin yarn on the other side to repeat rows 25-36 for the opposite neck strap.

Border:

1. With light green yarn, join with a sl st at the bottom corner of the bib.
2. Round 1: Ch 1, sc evenly around the entire edge of the bib, working 3 sc in each corner. Join with sl st to first sc.
3. Round 2: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join with sl st. Fasten off.

Button Loop:
