Crochet Rustic Textured Triangle Shawl Free Pattern

Materials:

  • 2 skeins of bulky-weight yarn (suggested: Lion Brand Thick & Quick)
  • 6 mm crochet hook
  • Scissors
  • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge:

12 stitches and 8 rows = 4 inches in double crochet.

Abbreviations:

  • ch = chain
  • dc = double crochet
  • sc = single crochet
  • tr = treble crochet
  • RS = right side
  • WS = wrong side

Stitch Pattern:

This shawl uses a simple combination of double crochet and single crochet stitches to create a rich textured pattern. The edging features a light scallop effect for added charm.

Instructions:

Foundation Row:

Ch 4, 1 dc in 4th ch from hook (this forms the first row). Turn.

Row 1:
