Pattern Instructions
1. Foundation Chain
Ch 60 (or desired width).
2. Row 1
Dc in the 4th ch from the hook (counts as 1 dc + 1 ch). *Skip next ch, [cl, ch 1] in the next ch.* Repeat from * to * across, ending with 1 dc in the last ch. Turn.
3. Row 2
Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in the next dc, *[cl, ch 1] in the next ch 1 space, 2 dc in the next cl.* Repeat from * to * across, ending with dc in top of turning ch. Turn.
4. Rows 3-10
Repeat Row 2, adding 1 additional cluster in each following row (i.e., 1 cluster in Row 2, 2 clusters in Row 3, etc.).
5. Final Row
Ch 1, sc in each dc and cluster across. Fasten off and weave in ends.
6. Blocking
Steam block the shawl to open up the stitches and enhance drape.
