Delicate Lace Crossover Infinity Scarf
This crochet infinity scarf is designed using a delicate lace pattern, perfect for beginners who want to create a beautiful accessory in no time!
Materials Required:
- Worsted weight yarn (approximately 300 yards)
- Size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge:
14 double crochets and 8 rows = 4 inches in lace pattern.
Instructions:
Foundation Chain:
- Chain 130 (or any even number for desired width).
Row 1:
- In the 4th chain from the hook, make 1 double crochet (dc), chain 1.
- In the next chain, make 1 dc, chain 1.
- Repeat until the end of the row. Turn.
Row 2:
- Chain 3 (counts as 1 dc), then make 1 dc in the space between the two previous dcs, chain 1.
- In the next space, make 1 dc, chain 1. Repeat to the end of the row. Turn.
Row 3:
- Repeat Row 2. Turn.
Rows 4-12:
- Continue repeating Row 2 until desired length (approximately 60 inches long). End on a Row 2.
Finishing:
- Fold the scarf in half, bringing the two short ends together.
- Use a slip stitch to join the ends. Fasten off and weave in all ends.
