Crochet Cozy Textured Wave Cowl Free Pattern
Materials Needed:
- Worsted weight yarn (approx. 200 yards)
- Crochet hook size H/8 (5mm)
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Gauge:
- 12 stitches and 9 rows = 4 inches in wave stitch pattern
Finished Size:
- Approximately 10 inches wide and 24 inches in circumference
Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- dc = double crochet
- cl = cluster stitch
- st = stitch
Instructions:
- Ch 60 (or any even number to change size).
- Row 1: In the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in the next 3 ch, *dc in the next ch, cl in the next ch, repeat from * across, sc in the last ch. Turn.
- Row 2: Ch 1, sc in the first st, *cl in the next cluster, dc in the next sc, repeat from * across, ending with sc in the last st. Turn.
- Repeat Row 2 until your cowl measures 22 inches long. Finish off leaving a long tail for sewing.
- To finish, join the two ends of the cowl together with your tapestry needle, weaving the yarn through the stitches to secure it. Weave in all ends.
