Crochet Cozy Ribbed Beanie with Pom-Pom Free Pattern

Instructions

Beanie Body

1. Start with a foundation chain of 28 stitches. This determines the height of the beanie, including the folded brim.
2. Row 1: Hdc in the 2nd ch from the hook and in each ch across. (27 hdc)
3. Row 2: Ch 1, turn. Hdc in blo of each st across. (27 hdc)
4. Repeat Row 2 until the piece measures approximately 18 inches, or desired width to fit around the head snugly.
5. Fold the rectangle in half, aligning the short edges. Sl st the edges together to form a tube.
6. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing the top together.

Closing the Top
