Crochet Cozy Gingham Plaid Cushion Free Pattern

Materials Needed:

• Worsted weight yarn in green and cream.
• Size G/6 (4.0mm) crochet hook.
• Yarn needle.
• Scissors.
• 16" x 16" pillow insert.

Abbreviations:

• ch: chain
• sc: single crochet
• st(s): stitch(es)
• MC: main color (green)
• AC: accent color (cream)

Instructions:

Front Panel:

1. With MC, ch 48.
2. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across, turn. (47 sts)
3. Row 2-5: Attach AC. *Sc in next 7 sts (MC), switch to AC, sc in next 7 sts.* Repeat from * to * across, turn.
4. Row 6-10: Continue pattern switching: 7 sc in AC, 7 sc in MC, ending with 7 sc in AC, turn.
5. Row 11-15: Repeat Rows 2-5, alternating colors accordingly.
6. Continue pattern until 45 rows are complete.

Back Panel:

1. Repeat the instructions for the front panel.

Assembly:

1. Place both panels together with right sides facing out.
2. Sc around the edges of the panels to join, leaving an opening for the pillow insert.
3. Insert pillow and close the remaining edge with sc.
