Crochet Airy Lace Summer Wrap

Materials:

  • Lightweight cotton yarn (approx. 400-450 yards)
  • G (4.0 mm) crochet hook
  • Scissors
  • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge: 16 stitches and 8 rows in lace pattern = 4 inches

Finished Size: Approximately 60 inches long and 12 inches wide

Stitch Abbreviations:

  • ch = chain
  • dc = double crochet
  • sc = single crochet
  • sk = skip
  • st = stitch

Instructions:

Foundation Row: Chain 200.

Row 1: In the 4th chain from the hook, dc. *Ch 1, sk 1, dc in next chain.* Repeat from * to * across. Turn.

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), ch 1, sk first st, dc in next ch-1 space. *Ch 1, sk 1, dc in next ch-1 space.* Repeat across. Turn.

Row 3: Ch 3, ch 1, sk first st, dc in next ch-1 space. *Ch 1, sk 1, dc in next ch-1 space.* Repeat across.

Repeat Rows 2 and 3 until the piece measures approximately 60 inches or your desired length.

Final Row: Ch 1, sc across last row. Fasten off.

Finishing:

Weave in all ends with a tapestry needle. Block your wrap to open up the lace pattern and enhance drape.
