• 2 skeins of white worsted weight yarn
• 1 skein of lavender worsted weight yarn

10 stitches x 10 rows = 4 inches in double crochet

Instructions

Blanket Base

1. Start with the white yarn. Ch 100.
2. Row 1: Dc in the 4th ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn. (97 dc)
3. Rows 2-50: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in each st across. Turn.

Edging

1. Ch 1, sc evenly around the edges of the blanket, placing 3 sc in each corner. Join with a sl st to the first sc.

Flowers

1. With lavender yarn, ch 5 and join with a sl st to form a ring.
2. Round 1: Ch 1, 8 sc in ring, join with a sl st to first sc.
3. Round 2: *Ch 3, sl st in next sc*, repeat from * to * around. Fasten off.
4. Secure flowers to the blanket with the tapestry needle, placing them randomly.
5. With green yarn, embroider small leaves around the flowers to add detail.

Weave in all ends with a tapestry needle.
