Instructions
Front and Back Panels
- With white yarn, cast on 50 stitches.
- Ribbing: Knit 1, Purl 1 across. Repeat for 8 rows.
- Change to stockinette stitch (knit one row, purl one row) for 10 rows in white.
- Heart Pattern: Follow this chart for 5 red heart motifs across the panel, keeping the rest of the stitches in white:
- Continue in stockinette stitch maintaining the heart pattern for 18 rows.
- Complete the panel with 10 more rows in white yarn, maintaining stockinette stitch.
- Bind off.
Row 1 (RS): k15, (k10 in red, k10 in white) x 2, k15
Row 2 (WS): p15, (p10 in red, p10 in white) x 2, p15
Sleeves
- With white yarn, cast on 30 stitches.
- Ribbing: Knit 1, Purl 1 across. Repeat for 8 rows.
- Work in stockinette stitch and incorporate a single heart motif in the center of the sleeve as follows:
- Continue for additional 18 rows, increasing 1 stitch each end every 6th row, keeping the motifs centered, until sleeve measures 22 rows.
- Bind off.

Finishing
- Sew shoulder seams together.
- Attach sleeves at armholes and sew side seams.
