• ch = chain
• sc = single crochet
• dc = double crochet
• sl st = slip stitch
• st = stitch
• tr = treble crochet

Instructions:

1. Foundation Chain: Ch 25.
2. Row 1: Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each ch across. (24 sc)
3. Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), dc in the next 3 sc, ch 2, skip the next 2 sc, dc in the next 4 sc, ch 2, skip 2 sc, dc in the last 5 sc. (24 st total)
4. Row 3: Ch 1, turn. Sc in the first dc, sc in the ch-2 space, sc in the next dc, sc in the ch-2 space, sc in the next dc. (24 sc)
5. Row 4: Ch 3, turn. Dc in each sc across. (24 st)
6. Row 5: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each st across.
7. Heart Motif: Ch 6, join with sl st to form a ring. Ch 3, 6 dc in the ring, ch 3, sl st in the ring. Repeat twice more. (3 hearts)
