Crochet Elegant Scalloped Edge Washcloths Free Pattern

Materials:

• 100% cotton yarn in blue, cream, green, and red
• Crochet hook size H/8 (5mm)
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle

Abbreviations:

• ch = chain
• sc = single crochet
• dc = double crochet
• sl st = slip stitch

Instructions:

1. Foundation Chain:
   Ch 34.
2. Row 1:
   Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn. (33 sts)
3. Row 2-28:
   Ch 1, sc in each st across. Turn.
4. Final Row:
   Ch 1, sc around the entire washcloth, working 3 sc in each corner st to keep it flat. Join with sl st to first sc of the round.
5. Edging:
   Ch 1, *sk next st, 5 dc in next st, sk next st, sl st in next st; repeat from * around. Join with sl st to first ch of the round. Fasten off and weave in ends.
6. Repeat above steps for each color to create a set of four washcloths.
