Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- dc = double crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
- sp = space
- st = stitch
Instructions:
Round 1:
Start with a magic circle, ch 2 (counts as first dc), then make 11 dc into the circle. Join with a sl st to the top of the first dc. (12 dc)
Round 2:
Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in the same st, [2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st] repeat around. Join with a sl st to the top of the first dc. (18 dc)
Round 3:
Ch 2, *sc in first st, ch 4, skip 1 st, sc in next st; repeat from * around. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (6 ch-4 sps)
Round 4:
Work into each ch-4 sp: ch 3 (counts as first dc), 3 dc, ch 2, 4 dc; sl st in next sc of previous round, repeat around. (6 petals)
Round 5:
