Crochet Whimsical Colorful Striped Fingerless Gloves

Materials Needed:

• Worsted weight yarn in 3-4 different colors
• Size H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• Measuring tape

Gauge:

8 stitches and 10 rows = 4 inches in double crochet (DC)

Size:

Adult size ( adjustable)

Pattern Instructions:

Foundation (Cuff):

With Color A, chain 12 (adjust to fit wrist). Turn.

Row 1: HDC in 2nd chain from hook, HDC in each chain across. (11 HDC)

Row 2-5: Chain 1, turn; HDC in each stitch across (11 HDC). Change to Color B in the last stitch of Row 5.

Main Body:

Row 6: Chain 1, DC in first stitch, *change to Color C on next stitch, DC in next 4 stitches, change back to Color B and DC in 3 stitches; repeat from * until row ends.

Row 7-15: Repeat Row 6, alternating colors as you desire.

Thumb Hole:

In the last row, create a thumb hole by chaining 4 while skipping 3 stitches in the middle. DC in each remaining stitch across.

Finish Up:

Join with a slip stitch, fasten off, and weave in all ends. Make the second glove the same way.
