Instructions:

Base Round:

1. Start with a magic ring or ch 4 and join to form a ring.
2. Round 1: ch 2 (counts as dc), 11 dc into ring. Join with sl st to top of ch 2 (12 dc).

Fruit Slice Design:

1. Round 2: ch 2, (1 dc in next 2 st, 2 dc in next st) repeat around. Join (16 st).
2. Round 3: ch 2, (1 dc in next 3 st, 2 dc in next st) repeat around. Join (20 st).
3. Round 4: ch 2, *1 dc in each of the next 4 st, 2 dc in next st* repeat around. Join (24 st).

Color Change for Fruit:

1. Switch to yellow yarn for a pineapple, or green for a kiwi.
2. Round 5: ch 1, sc in each st around. Join.
3. Round 6: Change to contrasting color (brown for pineapple, light green for kiwi).
