Crochet Vintage Floral Round Coasters Free Pattern

Materials Needed:

• Worsted weight cotton yarn in two colors (cream and sage green)
• Crochet hook size H/8 (5 mm)
• Tapestry needle

Finished Size:

Each coaster measures approximately 4 inches in diameter.

Pattern Instructions:

Round 1:

With cream yarn, create a magic ring, ch 2 (does not count as a st), work 12 dc into the ring. Join with sl st to the first dc. (12 sts)

Round 2:

Ch 2, 2 dc in each st around. Join with sl st to the first dc. Fasten off cream. (24 sts)

Round 3:

Attach sage green yarn to any stitch, ch 2, (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc) in same st, skip next st. *(1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc) in next st, skip next st.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with sl st to the first dc of the round. (24 dc, 12 ch-1 sps)

Round 4:

Ch 2, dc in each dc from the previous round and ch-1 space. Join with sl st to the first dc. Fasten off sage green. (36 sts)

Round 5:

Attach cream yarn, ch 1, sc in each st around. Join with sl st to the first sc. Fasten off and weave in all ends. (36 sts)

Finishing:

Block coasters lightly if needed to flatten and ensure even shape.
