Materials:
- Worsted weight yarn (approx. 1200 - 1800 yards depending on size)
- 5.5 mm (I) crochet hook
- Yarn needle for weaving in ends
- Measuring tape
- Scissors
Gauge:
15 stitches x 18 rows in a textured stitch equals 4 inches.
Sizes:
This pattern is available in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL.
Stitch Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- dc = double crochet
- st = stitch
- sl st = slip stitch
Pattern Instructions:
Body:
- Start by chaining 80 (85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120) stitches or desired width.
- Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook. Dc in next ch, *sk 1 ch, sc in next ch, dc in next ch. Repeat from * until the end. Turn.
- Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in first st, *sk 1 st, sc in next st, dc in next st. Repeat from * until the end. Turn.
- Repeat Row 2 until the work measures 24β (or desired length). Fasten off.
Sleeves (Make 2):
- Start by chaining 40 (45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80) stitches.
- Repeat the pattern for the body in rows as above until sleeve measures 18β. Fasten off.
Assembly:
- Lay the body flat and place the sleeves on each side. Pin in place.
- Join yarn at the underarm and sl st the sleeves to the body.
- Work a row of sc around the neckline to finish it off, joining sleeves to body.
- Weave in all ends.
