Crochet Textured Cozy Knitted Feels Sweater Free Pattern

Materials:

  • Worsted weight yarn (approx. 1200 - 1800 yards depending on size)
  • 5.5 mm (I) crochet hook
  • Yarn needle for weaving in ends
  • Measuring tape
  • Scissors

Gauge:

15 stitches x 18 rows in a textured stitch equals 4 inches.

Sizes:

This pattern is available in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL.

Stitch Abbreviations:

  • ch = chain
  • sc = single crochet
  • dc = double crochet
  • st = stitch
  • sl st = slip stitch

Pattern Instructions:

Body:

  1. Start by chaining 80 (85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120) stitches or desired width.
  2. Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook. Dc in next ch, *sk 1 ch, sc in next ch, dc in next ch. Repeat from * until the end. Turn.
  3. Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in first st, *sk 1 st, sc in next st, dc in next st. Repeat from * until the end. Turn.
  4. Repeat Row 2 until the work measures 24” (or desired length). Fasten off.

Sleeves (Make 2):

  1. Start by chaining 40 (45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80) stitches.
  2. Repeat the pattern for the body in rows as above until sleeve measures 18”. Fasten off.

Assembly:

  1. Lay the body flat and place the sleeves on each side. Pin in place.
  2. Join yarn at the underarm and sl st the sleeves to the body.
  3. Work a row of sc around the neckline to finish it off, joining sleeves to body.
  4. Weave in all ends.
