Materials:
- Bulk yarn (approx. 1000 yards)
- Size N (10 mm) crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Gauge: 8 double crochets = 4 inches in Cloudburst Stitch
Finished Size: Approximately 45" x 60"
Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- dc = double crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
- sp = space
Instructions:
Foundation Row: Ch 102.
Row 1: dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 2 ch, *(ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next 3 ch)*; repeat from * to * across to last 2 ch, skip 1 ch, dc in last ch. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in first sp between double crochets, *(ch 1, dc in next sp, ch 2, dc in next sp, ch 1)*; repeat from * to * across to last dc, dc in top of last dc. Turn.
Row 3: Ch 3, dc in first sp, dc in next dc, *(ch 2, skip ch 1, dc in next sp, ch 2, dc in next dc)*; repeat from * to * across to last dc, dc in top of last dc. Turn.
Repeat Rows 2 and 3: Continue repeating Rows 2 and 3 until the blanket measures approximately 60 inches long or desired length, finishing with Row 2.
Border: With right side facing, attach yarn in any corner, ch 1, sc evenly around the entire blanket, putting 3 sc in each corner. Join with a sl st to the first sc to complete the border. Fasten off and weave in ends.
