Materials Needed:
- Worsted weight yarn in white and gray
- Size G (4.0 mm) crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Polyester fiberfill stuffing
Abbreviations:
- ch - chain
- sc - single crochet
- st(s) - stitch(es)
- inc - increase (2 sc in one st)
- dec - decrease (sc 2 sts together)
Pattern:
- Start: In gray or white, make a magic ring.
- Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring. (6 sts)
- Round 2: Inc in each st around. (12 sts)
- Round 3: (Sc in next st, inc) 6 times. (18 sts)
- Round 4: (Sc in next 2 sts, inc) 6 times. (24 sts)
- Round 5: (Sc in next 3 sts, inc) 6 times. (30 sts)
- Rounds 6-10: Sc in each st around. (30 sts per round)
- Round 11: (Sc in next 3 sts, dec) 6 times. (24 sts)
- Round 12: (Sc in next 2 sts, dec) 6 times. (18 sts)
- Round 13: (Sc in next st, dec) 6 times. (12 sts)
Start stuffing the ball firmly with fiberfill. - Round 14: Dec 6 times. (6 sts)
- Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Weave the tail through the remaining stitches and pull tight to close. Secure and weave in the end.
Repeat the pattern using different color combinations to create a set of indoor snowballs.
