Crochet Rustic Bohemian Picnic Set

Materials:

• Worsted weight cotton yarn in natural brown (approx. 400 yards)
• Size H (5 mm) crochet hook
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Basket:

Bottom:

1. Ch 12.
2. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc across (11 sc).
3. Row 2: Ch 1, turn. 2 sc in first st, sc in next 9, 2 sc in last (13 sc).
4. Row 3: Ch 1, turn. 2 sc in first st, sc in next 11, 2 sc in last (15 sc).
5. Continue increasing 2 sc in each end stitch until you reach 25 sc. (approx. 8 rows).

Sides:

1. Ch 1, turn. Sc around entire perimeter, placing 3 sc in each corner stitch.
2. Work in rounds until sides reach a height of 6 inches.

Handle (make 2):

1. Ch 35, sc in 2nd ch from hook and across (34 sc).
2. Sc in each sc for 5 more rows. Attach each end to top of basket with yarn needle.

Coasters (make 4):

1. Ch 8.
2. Round 1: Join with sl st to form a ring. Ch 1, 12 sc in ring. Join.
3. Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around. Join, fasten off.

Blanket:

1. Ch 60.
2. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across (59 sc).
3. Row 2: Ch 1, turn. Work a row of alternating dc and tr across.
4. Row 3: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each stitch.
5. Repeat Rows 2 and 3 until blanket measures 36 inches long.

Finishing:

1. Weave in all ends with yarn needle.
2. Optionally block to shape.
