Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn: 15 yards red, 10 yards tan
• Crochet hook size G (4.00 mm)
• Yarn needle
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Pipe cleaner for support
• Ribbon for hanging

Finished Size: Approximately 5” tall by 3” wide

Abbreviations:

• ch = chain
• sc = single crochet
• inc = increase (2 sc in 1 stitch)
• dec = decrease (crochet 2 stitches together)
• st = stitch
• sl st = slip stitch

Mushroom Cap:

1. Using red yarn, make a magic ring, ch 1.
2. Round 1: 6 sc in the ring (6).
3. Round 2: Inc in every st (12).
4. Round 3: (sc, inc) repeat around (18).
5. Round 4: (2 sc, inc) repeat around (24).
6. Rounds 5-6: Sc in each st (24).
7. Round 7: (2 sc, dec) repeat around (18).
8. Round 8: (sc, dec) repeat around (12).
9. Stuff the cap lightly.
