Crochet Elegant Floral Round Doily Free Pattern

Materials Needed:

• 4 Ply Cotton Yarn in Cream, Pink, Green
• 4 mm Crochet Hook
• Yarn Needle
• Scissors

Finished Size:

Approximately 14 inches in diameter

Instructions:

Center Flower:

1. With Pink, form a magic ring.
2. Round 1: Ch 1, 8 sc in ring, sl st to first sc to join. (8 sts)
3. Round 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in each sc around, sl st to first dc. (16 sts)

Leaf Motifs:

3. Join Green yarn into any st, ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same st, ch 2, sl st in same st, * skip 1 st, sl st, ch 2, 3 dc in next st, ch 2, sl st in same st. Repeat from * around.

Outer Flowers:

4. Using Pink and a magic ring, repeat as for center flower (Rounds 1-2), creating 8 separate flower motifs.

Base Doily:

5. Using Cream, connect to any center flower st, ch 5 (counts as tr), * ch 2, skip 1 st, tr in next, repeat from * around, join.
6. Round 2: Ch 1, *3 dc in ch-2 space, 1 dc in tr, repeat from * around.

Edging:

7. Using Cream, *ch 3, sc in next dc, around.
8. Finishing Round: Using Pink, *ch 4, sc in next ch space, around.

Assembly:

Sew outer flower motifs spaced evenly around the doily using yarn needle and cream yarn, resting them atop leaf motifs.

Weave in all ends with a yarn needle. Block the doily lightly to shape.
