- Tapestry needle
- 1.5 yards of ribbon or cord for lacing
Gauge: 14 stitches and 10 rows = 4 inches in single crochet

Pattern Instructions:
Base of the Arm Warmers
- Chain 30 (or adjust for a tighter or looser fit).
- Row 1: Single crochet in the second chain from hook and across (29 sc). Turn.
- Row 2: Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch across (29 sc). Turn.
- Repeat Row 2 until you reach a total length of 10 inches from the starting chain.
Creating the Thumb Hole
- Row 11: Chain 1, and sc in the first 10 stitches. Chain 5 (this will be your thumb hole), skip the next 5 stitches and sc in the last 9 stitches. Turn.
- Row 12: Chain 1, sc in each stitch across (including the chain). Turn.
- Repeat Row 12 until the total width is 4 inches wide (or desired width).
Finishing the Arm Warmer
- Fasten off and weave in the ends.
- To create the lace-up effect, use your tapestry needle to thread the ribbon or cord through the stitches along the side of the thumb hole, and tie a bow at the top.
- For added texture, you can crochet a few rounds of slip stitches around the top and bottom edges.
Customization Options:
- Add decorative buttons along the front for a personal touch.
- Experiment with different yarn types for varied textures.
- Use contrasting colors for the ribbon to make it pop.
Enjoy your new cozy arm warmers!
