Cozy Autumn Sweater Pattern

Materials

• Yarn: Aran weight, 100% wool, in mustard color. Approx. 800g for size M.
• Needles: 5mm circular needles, 60cm length.
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle

Gauge

18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch.

Abbreviations

• CO - Cast On
• k - knit
• p - purl
• st(s) - stitch(es)
• k2tog - knit 2 stitches together
• BO - Bind Off

Instructions

Body

1. CO 108 sts using 5mm needles.
2. Join in the round, place marker to indicate beginning of round.
3. Knit 2, purl 2 ribbing for 2 inches.
4. Switch to stockinette stitch (knit all rows) and continue until piece measures 16 inches from CO edge.

Divide for Sleeves and Body

1. Slip 18 sts on either side on holders for sleeves.
2. Continue knitting the body in the round until piece measures 24 inches from CO edge. BO all sts.

Sleeves

1. Place 36 held sts back on needles.
2. Pick up 4 sts from underarm. (40 sts total)
3. Knit 4, purl 4 ribbing for 2 inches.
4. Switch to stockinette stitch until sleeve measures 18 inches.
5. Decrease 1 st at the beginning and end of every 5th round until sleeve measures 24 inches.
6. BO all sts.

Finishing

1. Sew sleeve seams.
2. Weave in all ends using tapestry needle.
3. Block gently to finished measurements.
