• dc: double crochet
• sc: single crochet
• fpdc: front post double crochet

Instructions

Foundation Row

1. With Color A, ch 150 loosely.
2. Row 1: sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across, turn. (149 sc)

Create Stripes with Texture

2. Row 2: Change to Color B, ch 1, sc in first sc, *puff in next st, sc in next st; repeat from * across, turn.
3. Row 3: Repeat Row 1, turn.
4. Row 4: Repeat Row 2, change to Color C at end of row.
5. Row 5-8: Repeat Rows 3 and 4, changing colors every two rows. Suggested color pattern: A, B, C, D, E, F.

Continue Pattern

Repeat rows 2-8 until desired length is achieved, ending on a Row 3.

Border

1. Round 1: With Color A, sc evenly around entire blanket, placing 3 sc in each corner. Join with a sl st to first sc.
2. Round 2: Ch 2 (counts as dc), *fpdc around next st, dc in next st; repeat from * around, join with sl st.
3. Round 3: Change to Color B, ch 1, sc in each st around, placing 3 sc in each corner. Join with sl st.
4. Rounds 4-5: Repeat Round 2 with alternating colors A and B.

Finishing
